Over Night at the Museum

Carter's Cub Scout Pack had an over-nighter at the Milwaukee Museum. The museum was buzzing with all different cub scout packs from around the area.

Take note to the bumpy-rocky, stone-covered-floor we slept on (or at least tried to sleep on)!

Carter & his friend, Ezra. Ezra and Carter are both in the 3rd grade!!!

Can't get enough of those butterflies....

I am really looking forward to sleeping in my bed tonight!!!

Looks as if it was both fun and entertaining - plus a learning experience. Cub Scouts are good.

I am grandma to Kaitylynn Beck Carter's classmate at Eastview. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family at this tragic loss of your dear little boy. My Kaity loved Carter very much. She is taking his death so very hard as are all of you. I pray for each of you every day that you may know some peace and a little less pain each day. I am hoping to help my Kaity with this tragic loss too. They spent a lot of time together at school on projects and at recess. May God bless you and your loved ones.

RIP Carter... My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and all the ones you touched. I do not know you, but the pictures in here tell a story of a great family with lots of love and plenty of beautiful memories. Many many folks are praying for all of you through this most difficult time. May that give you just a tiny bit of peace and comfort to make it through this...

I just wanted to comment and leave you my condolences. Your son was a beautiful, bright, christian boy and my daughter Kaitlynn (in his 3rd grade class) just adored him. She has been sharing her stories with me about Carter. How they played at recess, how he would always choose her to be partners with him, how they woul go get the snack and milk for the class together and talk and even how he always tried to put a smile on someones face.
I went to the service today for your son and i brought my daughter. I cried almost the entire time i was there. I was amazed at how much love was being shared and expressed. I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling. I have 3 boys and a daughter. I cannot imagine losing any of them. But i saw today, the strength in your face, and the faith in your eyes. Your faith will get you through this and you have taught your babies well. To love and honor our Lord. I feel i have much to learn from your faith. I have just recently been back to church. I used to go alot but i am for sure headed back now with all of my children to teach them and guide them the way you have with your boys. Kaity says that she and Carter were very close in school. It took her two days to gain the strength to go back to school. I reminded her that Jesus took Carter's hand and led him to heaven. We are here for you if you need anything. Please feel free to call or write if you need anything. 262-949-1179. melaniehanson@rocketmail.com.
