Chad was my photographer today, and I have to say, he did an excellent job taking pictures and catching us at "just the right time"! Enjoy the pictures of our pool fun....
Messages of Inspiration, Hope, and Love. "The one thing I ask of the Lord - the thing I seek most - is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his santuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock." ............ Psalm 27:4-5

Cub Scouts Swimming Party
Holidazzle Parade
This was a our fifth year of going to the Holidazzle Parade here in Durand, and Carter's first year of walking in the parade. The Cub Scouts handed out hot cocoa packets in their holiday santa hats and shared a "Happy Holidays" with the crowd.
Bradley had the best seat of all which was on the 4-wheeler. He had a hard time keeping up with big brother and a nice cub scout mom offered him a ride on the warm 4-wheeler. This mom had the right idea!

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours'. We had an exciting day on Thursday as we celebrated Thanksgiving with our families. We started out our day at The Dorwin's with Bill & LaNita's delicious annual Thanksgiving feast! It was great to see everyone! Thanks for a wonderful meal.
We then headed to Independence to the Klimek's for another yummy meal! We all met up at Grandpa Ed's house and the kids decorated Great-Grandpa's little trees for him.
Here is Abby getting a tree ready....
THANKS TO OUR FAMILIES FOR GOOD FOOD, GOOD FUN, AND MANY MEMORIES!!

Happy Birthday, Jamie
Sunday School Singers
The kids from Sunday School sang in church today to "The Wiseman" song. They did a good job singing and doing the motions to the song.
Up front singing was Carter, Dylan & Ethan.
The cousins were all next to each other during their performance. Behind Carter, Dylan & Ethan was Hunter!
Here's a picture of the whole group, however, we had 6 kids gone from our Sunday school group, including Paige who was at home sick.
They all did a great job singing for us!

Carter loses his 1st tooth...
The excitement around our house this weekend involved Carter losing his first tooth.
Carter was a little down on Saturday as his tooth was hurting and starting to work its way out. I told him that it would be out in about a day or two, so we decided to do a before and after picture.
BEFORE....
By Sunday evening, Carter's tooth was hanging by one thread (It was so GROSS). He asked me to pull it out, but I couldn't get myself to do it!!
He then asked Chad to do it. Chad's fingers were so big compared to Carter's little tooth that he couldn't get a good grip on it. He found a narrow plyers and it "slid" right out, as Chad said......I had to leave the room, of course! Carter is happy to announce that he finally lost his first tooth. We prepared the tooth for the tooth fairy, when I was taken off guard with tears from Carter. He was soooooooooooooo upset that he had to give his tooth to the tooth fairy. He calmed down knowing that he can keep his tooth as long as he wants and can give it to the tooth fairy when he is ready to. I am hoping it won't be too long as he is sleeping with his tooth tonight in a little special box. Oh, did I mention that we had to write the tooth fairy a letter in that he wanted to keep his tooth?!?
AFTER.....
Since Carter was getting pictures of his teeth, Bradley had to get a picture of his teeth, as well.......well, more like his tongue!!
Have a good week everyone!

Halloween
The boys were all dressed up for Halloween, ready to have some Halloween fun!
Here we have Bradley, the strong Knight; and Carter, Jango Fett, a Star Trooper from Star Wars.
Our church had a Fall Carnival with fun and games for the kids. The boys thought it would be fun to dress up as a bible hero. Carter thought "Joshua the Warrior" was pretty cool, so the boys dressed as Warriors to the party.

Carter enjoyed the "Pin the nose on the Jack-o-Lantern". He wouldn't give up until he got the nose just right!
